Other stuff:

Sad realities that may inspire you to dance tango:

The Netherlands morally and financially supported the violent overthrow of a democraticly chosen pro Russia government in Ukraine, after an idea and initiative of politicians from the USA, and with the help of violent and murdering neo nazis in Ukraine. Now, 2016-07-05, the government of The Netherlands has decided to follow NATO's request and build up an army at the Russian border, in order to 'counter' the Russian  'agressive' response to the Western crime. It makes me think of Hitler's excuse to invade Poland: "Seit 5 Uhr 45 wird zurck geschossen" and the, so far, succesfull 9-11 scam, which was pure high treason against the American people and its allies and the excuse to start various imperialistic wars in the Middle East.

What's the cause of every US government, and maybe yours as well, becoming such a disappointment?

To be able to sit through the whole video you need to try not get too upset by the BBC interviewer who acts like he is the specialist, while interviewing a nutty professor. It's clear the awfully unmannered BBC man prefers to hear himself talking because he obviously has a task to forfil here: to discredit all evidence that conflicts with the official NIST report and the official conspiracy theory.
Is this BBC guy just mislead, or is he consiously an agent of the biggest criminals of the new century?

Blown away by Giampiero & Ariane

Performances
by Giampiero Galdi (Italy) and Ariane Liautaud (France), in Amsterdam, Flavia's milonga, June 8.
Webpage Ariane
Webpage Giampiero
Let me tell you I was blown away by the dances of this these young people from Italy and France. Both dancers showed an enormous technical skill, a wide variety of steps and moves including some I had never seen before, musicality, playfullness, equality. But what would all that be worth without their obvious traits of tenderness and sensuality. The man's careful lead into spectacular steps, the opportunities given to- and appreciated by the lady follower, them always understanding eachothers improvisation with the speed of light, I thought it looked so romantic, and it made me believe this couple had been training together for years.
Wnhen having a little chat with 23 year young Giampiero I however learned that they're not working as a dance couple in that way, but that they just love to dance together at the milongas whenever they bump into eachother, and that their preparation for the performances in The Netherlands consisted of nothing more than practising two times, just before. Well, then I was even more impressed. How come they seem so fine tuned, how come their performance looks like they spend all their time together? "Probably because we had the same teachers" Giampiero said "but I actually do not know so much of whith whom Ariane took her classes".
I'm blown away, as I said. This dance couple that just meets for the occasion gave a show of four dances, one after the other full of complicated sequences, with an ease and a fluidity as if they've been training for years. They have shown their audience what improvisation,  from an italian man and a french woman, when you at least speak the same tango language, can be like: shear pleasure. That's what they expressed, in their dances, as well: "We are having so much fun!" And so was their audience. Thank you, young maestros for your hard work makin the world beautiful, and thanks Flavia for having given us the opportunity to meet them!

'De eeuw van Carlos Moreno Amador'
Debuutroman van Onno Wesseling
380 paginas. ISBN 978-90-445-2821-3, uitgeverij De Geus
