Orquesta Típica Guardia Cadenera

The Orquesta Típica "Guardia Cadenera" is a group of 10 young tango musicians from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, England and Argentina who have the same dream: to keep alive the spirit of the famous tango orchestras of the 'Golden Age' of the 1940s combined with their very own musical ideas.
With the typical line-up of the orchestra (3 bandoneóns, 3 violins, viola, cello, piano, double bass) and their musical education as students of the "Rotterdam Academy for World Music" this orchestra wants to appeal to the ears of both concert visitors and dancers.

The musicans:

Ingeborg Cneut (violin)
Ananta Roosens (violin) (Lunfardo / Pavadita)
Cordula Welsch (violin) (cuarteto Rotterdam)
Solenne Burgelin (viola)
Guillaume Grosbard (cello)
Santiago Cimadevilla (bandonen) (racing club tango)
Michael Dolak (bandoneón) (cuarteto Rotterdam)
Matias Pedrana (bandoneón)
Judy Ruks (piano) (cuarteto Rotterdam)
Frances Dorling (double bass) (quinteto zarate / cuarteto Rotterdam).

Listen to two mp3's:

May 11.
Sounds great, although these two samples, delivered by the orquestra, do not prove the orchestras' determination to also play for dancers, due to the changes in the 'tempo'.

Will these songs be put in the concert set, and other songs be played in a set for dancers?

Playing in May 13, in Rotterdam
WTC. Gran Salon in Staal
